- Paris Hilton is costing the Los Angeles county jail system 10 times the normal amount for an inmate. The normal amount to house a female inmate is $99.64 per day. Paris Hilton is costing… drumroll please… $1,109.78 per day! [TMZ]
- Ocean’s Thirteen topped the weekend box office list and made $37.1 million buckaroos. Wow. I guess everyone wants to see Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and George Clooney. [Voice of America]

- OJ Simpson thinks the much-hyped celebrity reporting of late is ridiculous. He claims to field calls from various gossip rags and news magazines every day, but he dismisses them all. For instance, more people knew about Paris Hilton’s jail stay than the fact that people went into space that same day. OJ says: “But why do I want to talk to the media?
